So I came across these images in this months issue of Cookie Magazine and had to share. The couple who designed this eco-friendly home are jewelry designers who decided to raise their kids in Bali while working on their Indonesian inspired jewelry collection, John Hardy.
I love the fabrics in the shower area, so airy and colorful. I had to post the living space as well as the bathing space simply because its so exotic and amazing. To me this home is kind of like a fantasy home and amazing spa all in one! How wonderful to actually live in an open space like this and in Bali!

Amazing synchronicity. I was going through some old articles today, and came upon one about John Hardy and his family's home. And browsing on blogspot, I find this! Thank you for sharing.
Looking forward to reading more.
Great post, an inspiration for all of us who like to turn our homes into a paradise.
Any (natural skincare) advice for stressed-out skin living in the city? I live in Hong Kong, and the pollution here has aged my skin a half-dozen years, in just one!
John Hardy is amazing. I have never seen pictures of his home in Bali. I received my first John Hardy jewelry this Christmas and it's wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

The first image reminds me of one of those Japanese pagodas with an ethnic beautiful feel. The interiors bring to it the asian feel with its wooden struts and vibrant colours.
Beautiful!
wow...absolutely amazing pictures, with the combination of colors and weaving of various fabrics...love the patterns and how it makes me feel by looking at it.

How beautiful and relaxing it seems. I wonder what the climate is like there, it must be very accommodating to have such an open environment.
